Trip - 158 - Curry Club Christmas

Friday 19th December (Day 1)

Off to Essex and to stay on Lin and Ian's drive for one night. We left at 1100 and had an easy drive which, as the travel people were saying it would be the busienst traffic day in the Chrostmas run up, was a nice surprise. We parked up and walked into Upmnster to get a couple of Christmas items, and a sandwich in Roomes. A walk back and then we went in and chatted to Lin and Ian untill it was time to change for the Dinner Dance at Top Meadow Golf Club. A taxi came at 1845 and by 1900 we were seated and had an average meal. Good friends and good music. Carriages at midnight.

Saturday 20th December (Day 2)

We were up fairly prompt and after getting sorted drove to Ron and Shirley's as Hayley, Ash and the grandchildren were there. After a short visit we went to Primrose Glen and saw Jean, the Tamasfeldt's and Heather. We left for home at 1330 and aginan easy journey.
